Applications

1. All courses are on a first-come-first- serve basis. You can come in-person for enrollment, or contact us via our contact number Tseung Kwan O Centre (Phone: 2669 4108 or Whatsapp: 5516 2110) / Mong Kok Centre (Phone: 2782 6922 or Whatsapp: 6581 0781).
2. All applications are confirmed once the tuition fees are collected or the cheques are cleared. We reserve the right to exclude students from the class for pending or outstanding payment.
3. Once applied, the courses cannot be refunded or transferred.
4. Please check carefully for the time, date and application requirements of the courses before signing up.
5. Please bring along the receipt on the first lesson for checking and keep it till the course completion.
6. Students should arrive class on time. We reserve the right not allowing students to go into the classroom as it would disturb other students.
7. If the class quota of the selected course is full, you will be automatically put on the waiting list. We will notify you if the original/ new class has vacancy.
8. If the enrollment number is not enough, we have the right to cancel or modify the course, and we will refund the course fee to the affected students.
9. If the course instructor is absent, we will arrange another instructor to substitute the class without prior notice.
10. Payment should be arranged before the last lesson of the course in order to reserve the spot. If the payment of the next course is not settled, we have the right to give the seat to the students on waiting list.
11. Early renewal discount will be given to students who settle the payment before the 9^th lesson of the 10-lesson-regular course. If students pay later than the specified date, it will be charged as the original course fee. (*Tseung Kwan O Centre Only)

The Guardian's Duties and Responsibilities

1. Parents or guardians are asked to wait outside the venue while the class is in progress. Teachers have the right to ask any person to leave the classroom.
2. Please ensure you pick up your child / children promptly.
3. Please notify us in advance if the students leave on their own. We are not responsible for the safety of your child / children when they are on the way to our Centre or back home.

Safety

1. Students need to follow the regulations of the Centre. We reserve the right to ask anyone who does not abide by the rules or misbehave to leave the centre immediately.
2. No eating is allowed in the classroom and students can only bring their own bottle of water to the class.
3. Any sort of photography and videography by students or parents are restricted. We reserve the right to take legal action.
4. Our staffs and teachers are not responsible for any injury, or damages or loss of property as a result of participation in our courses.

Photography and Videography

1. Our staffs and teachers may occasionally use phones or cameras to take photos and videos during classes for technical feedback, assessment, or promotional materials.
2. Closed circuit television (CCTV) systems are in operation in our Centre for security only.

Copyright

1. All content included on or accessible through our site, such as text, graphics, logos, names, images, audio clips, music, sounds, and other materials, are our exclusive property and/or their relevant contributors which are protected by copyrights, and are subject to applicable laws and regulations.
2. Unauthorized parties are prohibited from the material reproduction, adaption, distribution, dissemination or making available to the public.

Attendance and Absence

Make-up class(es) will be offered for students who submit the personal leave to the regular course* within the next 30 days. For details, please find below:

** If students would like to apply for a leave, please notify our staff at least 2 hours before the classes.  Otherwise, the classes will be treated as absence. With 10 consecutive lessons, students can apply for leave twice (including personal leave, sick leave or other reasons). The make-up class needs to be finished within one month. Otherwise, the class will be forfeited (i.e. no refund or make-up).

Guidelines for Inclement Weather

1. In concern of your children’s safety, we follow the guidelines of the Education Bureau (EDB) and Hong Kong Observatory. The signals referred to those issued by the Hong Kong Observatory (www.hko.gov.hk).
2. If the Observatory announces the black rainstorm, Typhoon signal No.8 or above warnings will be made or were made, all class will be cancelled and suspended. The cut-off times indicated in the table below are designed to allow students and coaches/teachers to travel safely to and from our Centre.
3. If a black rain warning is raised after the indicated time, we advise students to stay home as it may be unsafe to travel. If the students have already set off for class, then proceed to Centre where staff will look after the students.
4. If a typhoon warning is raised on your way to school or during class, we advise students to return home if it is safe to travel. Please be assured that if the signal is raised during class, students will be supervised until they are collected by a parent or guardian.
5. EdFun Education Centre reserve the final rights for class or activity cancellation and suspension.

   Black Rainstorm Signal	In effect before 10:00am	Lesson will be cancelled Class will resume normal 2 hours after the black rainstorm signal is cancelled
   	In effect after 10:00am	Lesson in progress will not be affected; the remaining lessons will be cancelled. Class will resume normal 2 hours after the black rainstorm signal is cancelled
   	In effect after 2:00pm	Remaining classes will be cancelled.
   Standby Signal No.1	Normal **Parents can decide whether to let the students attend the class, but there will be no rearrangement or refund.
   Strong Wind Signal No.3
   Typhoon Signal No.8 or above	In effect before 7:00am	Classes before 2:00pm will be cancelled.
   	In effect after 12:00 noon	Remaining classes will be cancelled.
